A private, Catholic institution in suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, conducts a four-year undergraduate school for women, as well as coeducational schools in graduate and professional studies. The philosophy behind Rosemont College can trace its origins to Cornelia Connelly, educator and founder of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus. Connelly's Catholicism was based upon reverence and respect for all human beings. The Rosemont College Undergraduate Women's College offers more than 20 majors, conferring bachelor's degrees in the arts, sciences and fine arts. Each degree program provides focused immersion in a particular subject, combined with a broad and comprehensive grounding in the liberal arts. The average class size is 15 students. The Pennsylvania college's undergraduates are also presented with study abroad, internship and art exchange opportunities, as well as pre-law and pre-medicine programs.

Rosemont College's coeducational school of graduate studies confers master's degrees in counseling psychology, English literature, playwriting, creative writing, business administration, management, and curriculum and instruction. The graduate studies school also offers teacher certification at the elementary level, as well as certificate programs in health care administration and strategic management for women. Rosemont College's professional studies school conducts a variety of accelerated bachelor's degree programs, which are formatted to accommodate the requirements of busy professionals.

Rosemont College's 56-acre campus is located 11 miles west of Philadelphia. This Pennsylvania college's community is home to a number of organizations, including a chapter of the Student Anti-Genocide Coalition, which facilitates efforts to stop the genocide in Darfur, Sudan. Rosemont College also sponsors the web-based, student-run literary journal, Parlor. The Pennsylvania college's athletics offers students opportunities to compete in NCAA Division III basketball, lacrosse, field hockey, softball, tennis, and volleyball teams.
