The College of Health Care Professionals was founded in 1988 by MacGregor medical Association, a physician practice operating in 42 locations that found the need to provide quality medical training to employees. In 1990, the College of Health Care Professionals began offering its programs to students beyond the Association, and since then it has continued to grow and expand, with four campuses located in Austin, Houston Southwest, Houston Northwest and San Antonio.
