Bainbridge College is a two-year college located in Bainbridge, Georgia. The school is part of the state University System of Georgia. Bainbridge College was approved by the Georgia State Legislature in 1970 and opened its doors in 1973. When the first graduating class marched in 1974, a total of 42 students received certificates and degrees.

Students may earn Associate Degrees in the following areas: business administration (Associate of Arts); criminal justice (Associate of Arts); education - childhood (Associate of Arts); education - middle school (Associate of Arts); education - secondary (Associate of Arts); English (Associate of Arts); foreign language (Associate of Arts): general studies (Associate of Arts); health and physical education (Associate of Arts); history (Associate of Arts); mathematics (Associate of Arts); music (Associate of Arts); nursing (Associate of Arts with transfer to B.Sc., in nursing); nursing (transfer to 2-year A.D.N program); political science (Associate of Arts); psychology (Associate of Arts); sciences (Associate of Arts); sociology (Associate of Arts); and speech (Associate of Arts). The program of study at Bainbridge College includes the following core curriculum for most of the programs: essential skills (9 hours); institutional options (5 hours); humanities/fine arts (6 hours); science, mathematics and technology (10 hours); social sciences (12 hours) and classes related to the program of study (18 hours).

Students may also earn an associate degree in Applied Science in the following areas: accounting; administrative office technology; computer information systems; drafting technology; early childhood care and education; electronic technology; industrial maintenance technology; and marketing and management. Additionally, there are 11 certificate programs and 24 specialized technical certificate programs.

There are various admission requirements at Bainbridge College, depending on the program. Generally, prospective students wishing to enroll at Bainbridge College must have a high school diploma or a GED; submit official college transcripts, or high school transcripts; and must submit Compass Placement Test scores or satisfactory SAT or ACT test scores. Students do not have to have a high school diploma for all of the programs at the college.
