Bethany Lutheran College was originally founded in 1911 as Bethany Ladies College. Through the years the
Minnesota college was purchased by the Evangelical Lutheran Synod.
IT then formed the Bethany Lutheran Theological
seminary which eventually became its own entity and most importantly, in 2001, Bethany Lutheran College granted its first baccalaureate degrees.
Today, Bethany Lutheran College offers its students a private,
Christian,
liberal arts education on 50 acres in Mankato, Minn. The sprawling campus overlooks the

The Bethany Vikings give students an active outlet that promotes campus involvement. Student athletes can partake in a number of varsity sports including golf, soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball and tennis.
