Founded in 1856, Birmingham-Southern College is a private, coeducational, four-year university affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, BSC offers a liberal arts education with a focus on intellectual and ethical development.

Students at Birmingham-Southern College can earn a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of fine arts, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Music Education, Master of Arts in Public and Private Management, or a Master of Music.
