Blackwood beauty school offers students programs in Cosmetology and cosmetology instructor training. Founded in the early 1970s, Blackwood beauty school facilities consist of a clinic area, classroom, lounge and office supply room. The classroom has equipment for classes in theory as well as practical classes.

The 1,500-hour cosmetology course take 10 months to complete while the 600-hour instructor training course takes four months to complete. Students looking to take the instructor training course must have an Arkansas cosmetology License.
