Sprawling across 282 acres, this four-year, public University in Pennsylvania is centrally located in the thriving town of Bloomsburg, providing its students a multitude of social and academic opportunities. A member of Pennsylvania's State system of higher education, Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania offers more than 60 undergraduate majors, almost 40 undergraduate minors, more than 15 graduate programs, a doctorate program in audiology, and a variety of certificate programs for working professionals and educators.

State-of-the-art technology can be found in all eight of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania's classroom and instructional buildings and lecture halls. To accommodate its growing population, BU recently expanded its campus. The Hartline Science Center, for instance, was renovated to be twice its size, and several of the other instructional halls were expanded.

In addition to offering a wide variety of academic opportunities, Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania boasts more than 200 student organizations, which range from intramural sports to both Catholic and Protestant organizations. The university also has a thriving social scene, with multiple fraternities and sororities, in addition to are a football stadium, soccer, lacrosse and field hockey fields, baseball and softball fields and new tennis courts. There are always dozens of activities and events to check out, including the entertainment provided through the Celebrity Artist Series, which brings international musical artists and entertainment to the campus.
