The mission of Charles Drew University of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles is to provide healthcare to underserved communities by preparing physicians and healthcare professionals through programs involving education, patient care and research. Charles Drew University of Medicine and Science has two divisions: the College of Science and Health and the College of Medicine. The College of Science and Health offers a variety of degree and certificate programs areas that include biomedical sciences, pharmacy technology, physician assistant and radiology. A Master of Public Health degree program is offered in Urban Public Health. The College of Medicine offers programs and residencies that prepare physicians for careers in urban healthcare.
