community college offers the comprehensive education and training that you need in order to succeed down the line.
As a two-year institution of higher learning, this
Alabama college was established in 1973 in order to serve the people of Russell County and nearby areas. Today the college offers students the opportunity to earn either an Associate in Arts and the Associate in Science degrees. Thanks to Chattahoochee Valley
Community College's partnerships with traditional four-year schools, these degrees are offered as part Universal Parallel Programs that prepare students to transfer into a bachelor's degree program after two years.
This Alabama college also offers career programs that prepare students for immediate entry into the workplace after graduation, while earning them an Associate in Applied Science degree in the process. Although the career programs do not function as University Parallel Programs, many of the courses are recognized by other schools allowing students to transfer some of their credits if they wish to pursue a bachelor's degree. Certificate programs are also available to both individuals entering the workforce and those who wish to increase their potential for promotion and career advancement.
