community college provides students with both
liberal arts and professional degree programs. With majors ranging from Art to Criminal Justice to Home Economics, the school is a great place for those looking to transfer to a four-year institution. In addition to associate degree programs, Colby
Community College also offers a number of one-year certificate programs in areas such as practical
nursing, administrative medical assistance, and management. Students also have their choice of six pre-professional programs designed to prepare them for higher education in law, medical, dental, or veterinary school.

Community College. In addition to the school's 80-acre campus, Colby
Community College also operates a 60-acre agricultural center that serves as a hands-on lab for agriculture students. With ten agriculture majors offered (including Ag-Economics, Animal Science, and Horse Productio Management), The school provides a perfect stepping stone for students bound for either the farming workforce or vet school.
In addition, students who are interested will also have the opportunity to take their studies on the road. Colby Community College offers domestic travel-study programs to various destinations across the U.S.
When they're not in class, Colby Community College students enjoy the wide array of varsity sports offered on campus. In addition to basketball, wrestling, volleyball, track, cross country, softball, baseball and rodeo, the school also offers cheerleading, dance team, and intramural sports. Students who would rather work out on their own are free to use the on-campus fitness center complete with tennis courts, racquetball courts, and an indoor swimming pool. On-campus student organizations range from academic-oriented clubs like the Equine Science Club to professional organizations like the Future Teachers of America to social clubs such as the Student Broadcasters. Colby Community College also provides a number of on-campus social events each year including barbecues, dances, and performing arts events.
