Culinary Arts at
Johnson & Wales University has provided students with a top-notch culinary education combined with a traditional college experience. At this
Rhode Island university, undergraduates will have a host of majors to choose from that will help them earn the necessary skills to forge a career in the dynamic culinary industry.
The College of Culinary Arts offers students the chance to earn both their associate's and bachelor's degrees in four years. Students can opt for a two-year associate program in culinary arts or baking and pastry arts. The College of Culinary Arts awards bachelor's degrees in the following areas of study: bakery and pastry arts; culinary arts and food service management; culinary nutrition; food marketing; food service entrepreneurship; and pastry arts and food service management. Students who already have an undergraduate degree can earn an associate's degree in just one year at the College of Culinary Arts. Additionally,
high school students who aspire to a career in the culinary arts can get a head start on nine credits towards their degree through the Freshman Advanced Study Track (FAST) program.

Johnson & Wales University, students will learn from a faculty of accomplished chefs who bring their love of food to the classroom. With hands-on experience in one of more than 40 specialty culinary facilities on campus, students will receive the skills and inspiration they need to fuel rewarding careers in the culinary arts.

The International Baking & Pastry Institute at the College of Culinary Arts was the first such establishment in the entire world.
