college of the Mainland is an exciting place to be! College of the Mainland serves more than 8,000 students annually. More and more people are discovering the secret of success that can be found across the College of the Mainland campus.
College of the Mainland is experiencing a new sense of college spirit on campus. College of the Mainland has recently adopted a contemporary new look to its publications, advertising and signage, and has adopted a fun new mascot. COM went to the students, alumni, community residents and employees to get their opinions on the development of a new and improved image. College of the Mainland was eager to listen and is extremely proud of the results.
Many new programs and learning opportunities can be found all around the College of the Mainland campus. New
associate degree programs in
teaching,
medical Information Systems, and Geographic Information Systems are some of the exciting additions to the College. And the services for African
American students and services for Hispanic and Latino Students have just finished their first full year of operation in the COM community. A new grant has allowed College of the Mainland to create tutorial labs for math students who need remediation. As always, COM is looking to make college the best experience possible for all learners.
To help students succeed at College of the Mainland, the support staff provides top-of-the-line advisement, counseling, tutoring and career services available. In addition to the excellent academic opportunities students find at COM, outstanding cultural and social activities such as plays, concerts, and multicultural events abound on campus as well. College of the Mainland hopes to give students a meaningful, well-rounded
education, and prepare them for a successful future.
