cosmetology is available at all five campuses; esthetics available at Rochester, Buffalo, West Seneca, and Olean campuses; nail specialty at Rochester, Buffalo, and Olean campuses; waxing at Rochester; and electrolysis at the Olean campus. Students can study a variety of beauty areas at any of Continental School of Beauty's locations.

Those without a high school diploma or GED are required to take an entrance exam. The entrance exam tests the students understanding of general mathematics and English language usage.
Continental School of Beauty locations provide salon services. The services offered are provided by students, under the supervision of licensed instructors. Continental Beauty student stylists use professional products and the latest equipment. Salon services include shampoo, cut, conditioning, perms and relaxers, colors and hi-lites, waves, braids, waxing and more. Spa treatments, such as facials, microdermabrasion and other skin treatments, wraps and other full body treatments, waxing, and make up are also available. Continental's supplemental services include pedicures, manicures, skin care and more for both men and women.

Esthetics courses prepare students to be estheticians and skin care specialists with training in skin care, facials, body treatments, makeup application, hair removal and products. Students studying cosmetology learn hair care and styling as well as waxing, skin and nail care, and business and salon management and marketing. Nail specialty students study the areas of manicure and pedicure spa treatments, electric filing, retail management, individual client analysis, theoretical and practical knowledge of acrylic and gel nails, fabric wraps, and valuable insight into nail and skin disorders.
