massage therapy. Costa Rica School of Massage is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association Council of Schools and is a Florida State Board Approved
Massage School.
The Costa Rica School of Massage curriculum is designed to give students the knowledge and skills of massage as well as prepare them to pass the National Board Certification Exam for
Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. The program requires 540 hours of study in courses, which include yoga and movement, anatomy and physiology, self care and hygiene, history and benefits, Swedish massage, complementary medicine, body work, holistic nutrition, psychology of touch, clinical practicums, aromatherapy, Shiatsu, hydrotherapy, and an assortment of other courses.

Costa Rica's massage therapy program is a four-month intensive boot camp, offering sessions two times a year. The program includes student housing, where students reside at the private campus of the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy, in two-bedroom villas on Samara Beach.
During the third quarter, Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy students take a three day trip to Nicaragua.
Massage courses are held on the beach, in the covered ranch garden, or at the Samara Massage Center located on the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy campus.
There are more than a dozen instructors with years of experience in their respective fields of study.
Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy only accepts 20 students each term in order to provide individualized attention to each student.
Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy does not have a financial aid program, but students can seek financing options through bank loans, personal loans, and credit card loans.
To complete the application process, students must forward an application, copy of high school or GED certificate, application fee, letter of sound health from a physician, letter expressing intention and commitment to the program including an explanation of your motivation to pursue a career in massage therapy, recent photo, documentation of three received massages, two letters of recommendation, and a copy of driver's license or passport. These application materials can be mailed or faxed.
