Founded in 1955, Covenant College is a four-year Christ-centered institution of higher learning that offers students associate degrees, bachelor's degrees, and master's degrees. In addition to emphasizing the liberal arts in its curricula, this Georgia college is dedicated to the Bible as the Word of God. Although Covenant College admits students from other religions, these non-traditional students will still receive instruction from a Christian perspective.

In its dedication to the liberal arts, this Georgia college offers a wide array of programs from which to choose. From courses in subjects like accounting, biblical and theological studies, chemistry, church music, education, computer science and information systems, and finance, to classes in fields like experimental psychology, missions, interpersonal counseling, physical education, piano, theatre, and teacher education, there's something to appeal to most any student's ambitions and interest. Covenant College also offers pre-professional programs in disciplines like law, engineering, medical studies, ministry, nursing, and physical therapy.

As of the autumn of 2007, Covenant College had more than 1,000 part- and full-time undergraduate students enrolled in its courses. The Georgia college also boasts a student to teaching faculty ratio of 14 to one, and 88 percent of the faculty holds a doctorate or terminal degree.

Covenant College students participate in such athletics as: men's and women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's golf, men's and women's soccer, men's baseball, and women's volleyball.

Today this Georgia college is located on 300 acres in Georgia and boasts four buildings dedicated to classroom, four dorm buildings, two athletic facilities, and one library.

Students of Covenant College participate in such groups and organizations as Ballroom Club, Art Club, Cultural Diversity Program, Drama Club, Film Club, Mu Kappa, Musicians Club, Musical Theatre Club, Outdoors Club, Pre-Law Society, Psalm Club, Radio Club, Ultimate Frisbee, and Widows Ministry.
