Established in 1963, Cuyahoga Community College is Ohio's oldest and largest public community college. Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) offers associate degrees, certificate programs, and the first two years of a baccalaureate degree.

Cuyahoga Community College District - Metropolitan offers more than 1,000 credit courses in over 80 career and technical programs and liberal arts courses.

Opened in 1969, the Metropolitan (Metro) Campus was Cuyahoga Community College's first campus. The Metro Campus is located near downtown Cleveland in the St. Vincent Quadrangle, and offers day, evening, weekend, and distance-learning classes.

The Metro Campus features science, engineering, and health career labs, the Center for Arts and Culture, an auditorium, the Recording Arts and Technology Lab, a theatre, and an indoor weight room, pool, and other athletic facilities.
