Established in 1963 as Ohio's first community college, Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) aims to provide its students with a high-quality, affordable education. Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, Cuyahoga Community College is committed to the Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP), which ensures that the college will strive to continuously improve the quality of its educational programs and opportunities.

Cuyahoga Community College serves more than 55,000 credit and non-credit students annually at three traditional campuses, two Corporate College® locations, the Unified Technologies Center, and at our new Westshore location in Westlake, in addition to numerous off-campus and distance learning options. Tri-C offers students the opportunity to pursue an associate degree, certificate, or the first two years of a baccalaureate degree. Students can chose from over 1,000 credit courses in more than 140 career and technical programs and liberal arts curricula. Additionally, more than 600 non-credit workforce and professional development courses are offered each year.

In addition to excellent academic programs, Tri-C students are also privy to the many college-sponsored cultural, community, and sporting programs and events that take place on campus throughout the year. Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland is one of the most widely renowned educational jazz festivals in the nation and is held at Cuyahoga Community College in the spring of each year.
