Dade Medical College's vocational educational programs include general radiologic technologist, medical assistant,
massage therapy, diagnostic medical ultrasound, and magnetic
Resonance imaging. The general radiologic technologist program consists of 2,180 hours in didactic, lab, and externship. This program prepares students for entry level careers in radiography. The medical assistant program requires 900 hours of study in didactic, lab, and externship.
massage therapy students undergo 750 hours of courses and 150 hours in an externship. The diagnostic medical ultrasound program prepares students to pass the
American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers examination. The magnetic resonance imaging program prepares students for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist for Magnetic Resonance exam and requires 680 hours of didactic and clinical study including 200 hours of externship. Dade's courses are offered in English and Spanish.
