David Pressley Professional School of cosmetology offers cosmetology, esthetics and instructor training. The cosmetology program is 1,500 hours of study in the latest techniques of hair, nail care, skin care and makeup application. The 400-hour esthetics program covers theory, concept and application in 14 weeks. The instructors training program requires 600 hours of study with a cosmetology license. Students in this program develop skills in clinical and classroom teaching, program design, and lesson planning.

The Royal Oak campus cosmetology tuition and registration is $9,100 for full-time and part-time students. The full-time schedule is Monday through Friday and can be completed in 11 months. The evening schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday and can be completed in 21 months.

Esthetics tuition and registration at Royal Oak is $3,900, classes are Monday through Friday, and completion in 14 weeks. The instructor training program tuition is $2,580 with completion in 20 weeks.

The Downriver campus cosmetology tuition is $8,500, full-time Monday through Friday, with completion in 11 months. The instructor training program tuition is $2,580 with completion in 20 weeks.

Financial assistance is available to those who qualify.

David Pressley Professional School of Cosmetology clinics offer haircut/styling/shampoo, permanent wave, hair color, manicure/pedicure, waxing, and esthetics/skin care. All of the services are provided by senior students under the supervision of licensed instructors. These students have had at least 350 hours of training and education.

Job placement is available through the schools relationship with salons, spas and manufacturers.
