De Anza automotive Technology College allows students to further their careers in automotive technology. De Anza enrolls approximately 400 students a week, the program is NATEF certified, and the faculty is ASE certified. The college has a variety of programs to advance or begin an exciting career in the automotive industry.

De Anza offers introductory program and support courses on the basics of automotive technology as well as entry level programs in engine performance, chassis, powertrain, engine repair, and automotive machining. Students can also take inspection and maintenance courses. De Anza Automotive Technology College offers in-services programs for technicians and apprentices that meet apprenticeship requirements and lead to certificates of proficiency and Associate Degrees in engine performance, inspection and maintenance (smog), powertrain, engine repair, and chassis. An option for high school students interested in careers in automotive technology is De Anza's North County Occupational Program (ROP), which prepares students for entry-level employment or entry into De Anza's full-time automotive technology program.

De Anza Automotive Technology College is located in Cupertino, California. The campus' auto tech building is 10,000 square feet, including classrooms and outside areas. The lab area has workstations with 15 lifts, powertrain laboratory, machine shop, stationary engine lab, alignment stations, dynamometer, and specialized classrooms.

The college offers more than 40 courses in automotive technology.

The college's CAP Program is a sponsored program for apprentices in Chrysler dealerships. Students in this program take the same courses as those in the in-service apprenticeship and technicians program and graduates of the program receive journeyman status and an Associate Degree.

De Anza Automotive Technology College is an occupational education program for regional high school students. The program prepares students for entry level positions or for enrollment into full-time college programs. Areas of study include engines, tune-up, and chassis. Courses are semester long with 180 hours of study.

De Anza students enrolled in morning classes are required to furnish their own hand tools. Students are given a list of tools they will need and can purchase them through the college at special student pricing. Tools cost approximately $3,500.

Financial assistance is available through student grants and loans.
