Delaware school of Hotel Management offers a diploma in hospitality management as preparation for a career in hotel and hospitality management. The first year of the program includes introduction to the hospitality industry, food and beverage management, quality sanitation management, hospitality industry supervision, basic accounting for the hospitality industry, management of front office operations and work placement. The second year includes hospitality facilities management and design, housekeeping management, training and development for hospitality industry, human resources management, security management, hospitality sales and marketing, and work placement. The full-time two-year program consists of four semesters. The part-time program enables working students to study at their own pace. Work placement is two, required 500-hour internship opportunities.

To enroll into Delaware School of Hotel Management, students must have completed high school or have a GED, complete the required interview, and submit as least one letter of recommendation. Students applying to the school from countries where English is not the primary language must take the TOEFL exam with a minimum score of 500.
Those who are currently working in the hospitality industry may be eligible for exemption from the internship requirements for the program.
