Delta School of Professional Photography is held annually in the Little Rock area. Students enroll in hands-on classes at Delta that are held over several days at area hotels and conference centers. Recent classes have included digital studio operations, jazz photography and fashion portraiture, corel painter for photographers, mastering the light and photography 101. All classes at Delta School of Professional Photography are taught by accomplished professional photographers who are eager to help students develop advanced technical and artistic skills. Instructors at Delta have decades of experience and may have worked as wedding photographers, high school portrait photographers, or had their work exhibited in galleries and museums.

During their time at Delta School of Professional Photography, students may learn about how to use Photoshop efficiently, streamline the retouching process and use new technology to enhance their product line, or they may enroll in a class that teaches them how to create up-to-date portraits that appeal to today's high school seniors. Other courses at Delta may cover specific technical and business skills, such as lighting or how to operate a digital studio effectively. For those without extensive professional photography experience, Delta's comprehensive photography course provides the equivalent of a college semester's worth of material in just a few days. In this in-depth study of the technical aspects of photography, students will learn about lenses, lighting, color theory, and the basic elements of digital photography. How to use filters, understanding exposure for different types of cameras, and depth and field and angle of view are also covered. Elements of running a successful photography business are also incorporated into the curriculum.
