Derielle Cosmetology Academy is a nondenominational Christian cosmetology academy. The academy instructs students in a variety of cosmetology areas in a faith-based environment, where they begin each day with prayer. Derielle is accredited and approved by the State Board of cosmetology, OVR, SEC, NCEA, MSA, and AACS.

Derielle cosmetology Academy has programs in manicuring, esthetician, cosmetology, cosmetology teacher, microderm, chemical exfoliation, and laser and light therapy. The manicuring program is 300 hours, esthetician program 400 hours, cosmetologist 1,250 hours, cosmetology teacher 600 hours, and advanced esthetics 200 hours. The academy's programs in NCEA PREP, NCEA LED, NCEA microderm, NCEA chemical exfoliation, and NCEA laser and light therapy are seven to 42 hours. Students are awarded specialized associate degrees in these areas of study.

Prospective students can enroll in February, April, June, August, October, and December. Students must complete an interview and have completed at least the eighth grade.

There are two full-time on one part-time faculty members. The student to faculty ratio is 15 to 1.
