The San Ramon Campus (SRC) of Diablo Valley College provides higher educational services for individuals who live and work in the San Ramon Valley. The San Ramon Campus offers general education courses leading to an associate degree and/or transfer to a four-year institution.

At SRC, students can fulfill pre-transfer requirements. SRC also offers Computer Information Systems (CIS) and courses in the software and network technology. Many courses at the San Ramon Campus are offered in short-term and online formats, providing added flexibility and convenience for students.

The San Ramon Center (SRC) was founded in 1986 as the Center for Higher Education (CHE) to serve the needs of students in South County. In November 2006, the SRC moved to a new state-of-the-art campus in Dougherty Valley. The San Ramon campus is located in a village and includes a 29,000 square foot community center and an 11,600 square foot library.

The San Ramon Center provides an opportunity for Diablo Valley College (DVC) students to receive instruction in a more intimate setting. Diablo Valley College - San Ramon Campus provides a core of liberal arts and science courses, over 50 specialized career and technical programs, and support services. DVC makes available to all members of the community the full range of freshman- and sophomore-level courses required for transfer.

Diablo Valley College - San Ramon Campus was established in 1949 as East Contra Costa Junior College. The name was changed to Diablo Valley College in 1958.

Diablo Valley College is accredited by the Accrediting Commissions for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
