Located in West Springfield, Massachusetts, DiGrigoli School of Cosmetology offers an extensive and accelerated program in cosmetology. DiGrigoli School of cosmetology provides a 1,000-clock hour cosmetology program that is rooted in both theory and hands-on learning. During the first 250 hours, students at the Massachusetts beauty school learn basic techniques of haircutting, color return and virgin color applications, hairstyling, manicuring, perming and esthetics. Students at DiGrigoli School of Cosmetology also learn about the business with courses such as business ethics, customer service, state laws and regulations, job interviewing and sales administration.

After the 250 hours, students work on real clients in hair cutting, scalp treatments, shampooing, skin care and facial grooming and more. After 400 hours, students at the Massachusetts beauty school are given the opportunity to practice more advanced techniques, such as hair coloring, hair styling, hair straightening, cold and permanent waving and bleaching.

Students at DiGrigoli School of Cosmetology who are close to completing the 1,000-hour program are given the chance to participate in a mock state board exam. This gives students the opportunity to practice for the real examination.

DiGrigoli School of Cosmetology is located inside a 5,000 square foot facility that offers individual work stations, manicure stations, a skin care area, portable dryers, shampoo sinks, laundry room, back bar and dispensary. Students are given all the amenities to learn in a modern environment.

Students at DiGrigoli School of Cosmetology are given a kit with all the tools and supplies they need, including text books and study guides, a makeup kit, comb and brush set, styling set, manicure set, mannequin heads and stand, roller kits, apron and client cape, ceramic straightening iron and more.
