Founded in 1968, Divers Institute of Technology provides a training program that trains students to work in the commercial diving industry. Located in Seattle, Washington, students learn in open water, using the latest technology and equipment. The instructors at the Washington diving school have years of experience in the industry, and they bring an up-to-date curriculum to their students. Since its founding, the goal of Divers Institute of Technology has been to provide an education that will teach its students the essential knowledge and skills needed to work in the inland and offshore commercial diving industries.

The program offered at Divers Institute of Technology is a 900 total hour commercial dive course. Students are prepared to enter the industry as entry-level tenders and divers. The curriculum at the Washington dive school includes instruction about the limits of diving gear, underwater welding, hazmat, photography, underwater hydraulics tools and other diving operations.

Divers Institute of Technology offers small class sizes, and every student receives the personalized and individual attention that he or she needs for success. Before graduation, each student will have conducted an open-water deep dive to 165 feet.
