Founded at the turn of the 20th century, Dominican University is a private four-year institution of higher learning that is affiliated with Roman Catholicism. With its location on a 30-acre campus in Illinois -- only ten miles away from the hustle and bustle of Chicago -- the Dominican University is able to provide students with a cozy college setting in the residential suburb of River Forest.
