Dunwoody College of
technology, founded in 1914, is a private, non-profit, technical institution of higher
education, located on 15 acres of land on the
Western edge of downtown Minneapolis. The buildings that comprise the Dunwoody campus have a gross area in excess of 300,000 square feet.
Dunwoody classes are organized on a 12-week schedule. Programs are three or six quarters in length. Students at the
Minnesota technical school are pursuing diplomas or associate of applied science degrees and are prepared for entry-level employment in technical careers.
The
associate degree requires students to complete a minimum of 33 quarter credits of collegiate level arts and sciences courses. Dunwoody College of Technology also offers students the opportunity to pursue a bachelor of science in applied management degree that can be completed in two additional years.
