Elizabeth City State University is a constituent institution of The
University of North Carolina. A comprehensive University, ECSU offers baccalaureate programs in the arts and sciences and professional and pre-professional areas, and the master's degree in elementary
education. The University's graduate center provides master's level programs for advanced professional study in selected disciplines in conjunction with other constituent institutions.

Elizabeth City State University is located in the historic Albemarle region of northeastern
North Carolina, a waterfront community located at the narrows of the Pasquotank River near the world-renowned Outer Banks beaches.
