At Excel Career College, students are put on paths to obtain job-oriented certificates and diplomas through a number of training programs. The trade school, which was established in 1989, aims to provide students with the skills needed to enter and be successful in the current labor market.

More than 10 different certificate and diploma programs are offered to Excel Career College's students. Programs include business management, Canadian investment planner, digital design for print and web, financial office assistant, general insurance clerk, health care office assistant, I.I. network and repair, legal office assistant, professional home inspector, basic standards training, long-term care aide, and veterinary medical office assistant.

A number of corporate training programs are also featured. Corporations and their employees may choose to receive on-site instruction at their establishments or come to either of Excel Career College's locations for classroom instruction. Classes offered include software training, networking, customer service, computer hardware, business management, bookkeeping and other professional development studies.

For the working adult who is looking for continuing studies rather than a full-time program, Excel Career College offers part-time computer and business courses. More than 20 areas of study are available to students, including basics of Microsoft and Macintosh operating systems, word processing programs, Adobe software, Internet programming, and design.
