A family-owned school, the Exotic Animal Training School is a certificate-granting educational facility dedicated to teaching students about exotic and endangered animals through "affection training methods." Since 1992, the Exotic Animal Training School has based its teachings on educating the public on animals and animal training, aid in preventing the extinction of endangered species around the world, and producing a formal training program that will produce the next generation of animal caretakers and trainers.

A number of educationally-enriching programs are offered through the Exotic Animal Training School. Students can enroll in a 14-day course, a private course, a weekend course, and a trainer-for-a-day course as well as a variety of seminars. The 14-day course gives students 144 hours of hands-on experience in handling tigers, bears, lions and leopards. An additional three-day extension can be added to this program to give students a behind-the-scenes look at a marine mammal park. The private course is based on a year-round calendar, allowing students to decide which 10 consecutive training days work best for them. Students may also choose to narrow their training to specific animals or obtain a broad knowledge of different animals and primates.

Weekend courses and animal-trainer-for-a-day program at the Exotic Animal Training School allows students to schedule classes around work or other obligations as well as give them an oppportunity to work with exotic animals before committing to a full-time program.
