Students may choose a program in computer aided drafting, computer operator, secretary, legal secretary, and medical secretary as well as individual courses. The 895-hour computer aided drafting program provides training in typing, graphics, general drafting, architectural drafting, CAD, personal interviewing skills and the Internet. The 750-hour computer operator program at the Faris Computer School, Inc. offers over 13 subject areas in the Windows operating system. A student pursuing the secretary program will complete 900 clock hours, which are divided among just under 20 different areas of study. The legal secretary program is less than 900 clock hours with the majority spent on shorthand classes. The 900-hour medical secretary program consists primarily on shorthand training.

Faris Computer School, Inc. also offers independent courses, which can be taken in a 20-hour or 10-hour period. Instruction is offered in word processing, database, spreadsheet applications, introduction to computers, recordkeeping and data entry, graphics, windows, DOS, Microsoft office, computer keyboarding skills, typing, and office machines.
