The Florida college of Integrative Medicine is dedicated to providing education and hands-on experience to students in the field of oriental medicine. The Florida college of Integrative Medicine combines Oriental medicine teachings with Western medical studies to provide a well-structured program to its students. Students who study within the program will earn a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine in the field of integrative medicine along with a Bachelor of Professional Health Studies. The courses completed to obtain both designations include basics in Chinese and biomedical sciences, assessment and diagnosis, treatment plans, ethics, communication and practice management. Additional areas of study students may take up include acupuncture and Oriental medicine theory, Oriental herbal studies, Western biomedical science, clinical training and business and consulting.

Students at the Florida College of Integrative Medicine will be able to apply their classroom learning in a clinical environment with real cases under the supervision of licensed professionals. Some examples of procedures students will perform on clients include Tui-Na, nutritional and lifestyle counseling, acupuncture, herbology, and moxibustion.
