At the Fran Brown College of Beauty students are afforded a unique, hands-on experience that is specific, detail-oriented and catered to the needs of each student. Since 1980, Fran Brown has avidly trained students for a professional career in beauty.
Students at the Fran Brown College of Beauty may enroll in programs related to
Cosmetology, esthetics, master esthetics,
nail technician, and instructor training as well as advanced courses. Students in the
cosmetology program learn skills to cut, style, perm and color hair. They also get experience in manicures, facials and salon management. Students who enroll in the esthetics program can study at the basic level (which is a 16-week program), master level (which is a 16-week program), or in a combined master program that lasts for 32 weeks. The basic-level esthetic program offers professional skin-care training. Students at the Fran Brown College of Beauty who are training to become nail technicians will learn about nail diseases, sanitation, the anatomy and physiology of the nail, and nail procedures. Students who enroll in the instructor training program will learn skills to instruct others in the art of beauty. Students are prepared to pass the State Board examination.
