high school students and adults, the Franklin County Career and Technology Center offers career and technical training to Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and the south-central surrounding area.
FCCTC has been in operation since 1969 and provides quality vocational education training through their flexible schedule of day and evening activities. The Franklin County Career and Technology Center enables people to become masters of their chosen trade and specialized functions. FCCTC is on the cutting edge of industrial training in the fields of automation, mechanization, and technology.
The many school districts represented at Franklin County Career and Technology Center encourage students to move beyond their comfort zone and interact with people from other schools. For students who are college bound, as well as those ready to enter the work force after
high school, FCCTC provides credential training leading to industry certification in fields such as building
construction and trades, electrical, HVAC, computer technology, landscape and horticulture,
Cosmetology,
Culinary Arts,
Allied Health, and more.

FCCTC has aligned its training to provide for the high-priority occupations needed in south-central Pennsylvania.
Students at Franklin County Career and Technology Center can participate in the following student organizations: DECA, FFA, HOSA, and SkillsUSA.
The continuing education and adult evening classes at FCCTC are managed by Penn State Mont Alto and include programs such as HVAC, welding, electrical, woodworking, computer skills, jewelry making, cooking, and more.
