Located on 155-acre campus -- only 60 miles from New York -- Georgian Court University was founded and sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy of
New Jersey. A four-year institution of higher learning, the school provides students with an opportunity to study the
liberal arts in the Roman Catholic tradition. Despite this, the
New Jersey university is open to students of all faiths, and is comprised of two colleges: the
women's college and the University College, a coeducational school.
During their years at Georgian Court University, students will enjoy a student-faculty ratio of 14 to one, courses that are taught by quality faculty members rather than graduate or teacher's assistants, and a faculty of whom 80 percent have attained a doctorate or the highest degree in their field of study.

Georgian Court University is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC). Students participate in such athletics as: basketball, cross country, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, track and field, and volleyball.
