Established in 1971, Grant MacEwan College currently offers over 60 diploma and
certificate programs, two bachelor's degree programs, and 10 university transfer programs of study. In addition to offers academic programs of study, the school also operates the internationally-renowned Albert College
Conservatory of Music, which includes 50 private music studios and Muttart Hall, an award-winning 254-seat theatre for recitals and performances. Students will also find top-notch facilities at the Centre for the Arts campus which features a 16-track digital recording studio, full-scale music
technology lab, 20 soundproof practice wengers, a 29-station PowerMac computer lab for digital editing, several painting and drawing studios, and a 349-seat theatre to house on campus performances. All Grant MacEwan College students will have access to 900 computers available on campus as well as to academic journals and databases from around the world through the school's library.
Grant MacEwan College also offers over 1,900 non-credited courses each year to students as well as to members of the general public. Additional programs include corporate learning seminars, customized
business training, and basic
business skills courses available to the entire community.
After graduation, Grant MacEwan College makes the job hunt easy for students as well. In addition to on-campus career counseling and job search help, students also have access to the 31,000+ alumni network the school maintains close ties with. The school also supports a robust athletics program, a child care center, an extensive arts outreach program, personal counseling services, and disability services for students with special needs. All students will also have access to the school-run fitness facility, free academic advising, writing support, and free career workshops offered 14 times throughout the year.
