Since its inception in 1962, Greenville Technical College has blossomed into a four-campus institution that serves 14,000 undergraduate students and over 54,000 continuing education students. The four campuses include Brashier, Greer, Northwest, and Barton, which is the main campus, located in downtown Greenville.

Greenville Technical College offers more than 160 programs in areas such as arts and science, business, computer technology, public service, health, nursing, engineering technology, automotive technology, and industrial technology. Greenville Technical College's online component offers a more flexible schedule of study, with classes offered in the evenings and on weekends.

The Cooperative Education/Technical Scholarship program at this South Carolina technical college gives students the opportunity to combine real-world experience with coursework. Students find it not only an excellent chance to test-drive their chosen careers, but also to secure a job after graduation.
