Harmon's beauty school in Landover, is one of the most affordable Cosmetology programs in the State of Maryland. Harmon's Beauty School prepares students for the work force and trains them for the Maryland State cosmetology Boards. Students who pass the State Boards receive a license with which they can become professional hair designers.

Harmon's Beauty School was founded by Eva Harmon, a Russian immigrant pursing the American dream. In 2005, Ms. G'Marie became the owner and Director of Education at Harmon's Beauty School.

Harmon's Beauty School is known for students well educated in theory and clinics that reflect the importance of sanitation and cleanliness. G'Marie's goal for Harmon's Beauty School is to produce skilled hair designers who are educated in every aspect of hair care and design. Harmon's promotes the continuous pursuit of knowledge in hair design to enhance versatility and success. Stylists learn to work with all types of hair textures. They also learn professionalism and customer service skills.

Harmon's Beauty School is accredited by the Maryland Higher Education Commission, and is a member of the American Association of cosmetology Schools (AACS) and the National cosmetology Association (NCA).
