Idaho's Headmaster's School of Hair Design was founded in 1981. This hair design school offers a program in Cosmetology as well as cosmetology instructor training. The cosmetology course covers hair, skin and nails and can be completed in about 2,000 hours. After completing the program at Headmaster's (which takes a little longer than one year, depending on attendance) students are prepared to take state board exams and begin careers as licensed cosmetologists.
