Herkimer County Community College provides one- and two-year degree and certificate programs for students looking to get a jump on their career or bachelor's degree program. Located in Herkimer, New York, the school attracts a wide array of students ranging from traditional aged college students to older adult learners. With 40 years of history, Herkimer County community college has made a name for itself as an institution that provides strong liberal arts and technical programs of study. From the Anime Club to the Travel Club, Herkimer County Community College's extra curricular activities are designed to fit any intellectual palate. Additionally, the New York college also sponsors arts and cultural performances as well as community-wide celebrations throughout the year, giving students a chance to meet and greet each other in addition to the general public.

To make sure students make it through their academic plan, Herkimer County Community College provides an array of student support services including free academic advising, financial aid counseling, transfer assistance, and support services for disabled students. Childcare facilities are available on campus and the school's Learning Center provides one-on-one tutoring and online tutoring for students.
