Hocking College focuses on combining real-world experience with coursework to provide the most valuable education experience possible for its students. Areas of study at Hocking College include programs in
business, arts and sciences, industrial technology, computer and information technology, hospitality, health and
nursing, public safety, and natural resources. Students can earn
Associate Degrees or general education credits that can later transfer to a four-year institution. Additionally,
Hill College offers five different certificate options, ranging from the 12-hour certificate of completion to the technologist certificate, which involves taking advanced courses after completion of the
Associate Degree or in preparation for a bachelor's degree.
More than 80 percent of Hocking's alumni continue their education or are employed in careers related to their fields of study. It appears that Hocking College's "learning by doing" philosophy enables its students to achieve fulfilling careers after graduation.
