The Dorthea Hopfer School of
nursing (DHSN) in Mount Vernon, New York, is a private, hospital-based, registered
nursing program offering a two-year Associates Degree (ADN). Hopfer graduates are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Exam for registered nurses.
The
associate degree can be a terminal degree or a transitional step to Baccalaureate
education or higher. DHSN offers an Accelerated Licensed Practical Nurse to Registered Nurse option.
