Hypnotherapy Academy of America in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is a state licensed school of hypnotherapy training. Upon completion of the certification course, students are prepared for a professional hypnotherapy career.

Hypnotherapy Academy of America has developed a unique approach to hypnotherapy, incorporating practical, spiritual, and holistic philosophies. Up to 550-hours of training are available.

The Fundamentals of Hypnotism, Hypnotist Training, Master Hypnotist Training, and Hypnotherapist Training modules comprise the 250-hour certification course. Upon successful completion of the certification exam, individuals earn professional certification as a hypnotherapist with the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners.

Individuals wanting the designation of clinical hypnotherapist must complete 350 hours of training. This can be accomplished by adding modules to the fundamental 250-hour course.

Hypnotherapy Academy of America provides instruction in specialty applications such as weight loss, smoking cessation, anxiety and stress relief, chronic pain reduction, and habit control. Hypnotherapy does not replace medical or psychiatric treatment but it has proven to be an important complementary therapy.
