Illinois Institute of Technology. The Institute of Design is the world's most intensive program of advanced methods and theories of design.
Programs of study at ID include Master of Design (MDes), Master of Design Methods (MDM), Master of Design / MBA, and Ph.D.
The IIT Institute of Design focuses on a number of areas and problems. These broad interests are not degree programs of official areas of study, but they cut across all areas of the institute and include framework development, interaction, prototyping, strategic design, user research, and visualization.
The IIT Institute of Design uses research to develop methods that will help organizations gain a more relevant understanding of users' complex lives and drive the development of innovative products and
business concepts. ID believes that real innovation begins with the users' needs. A set of reliable methods, theories, and tools can then be applied to create solutions to their problems.
