Institute of Technology is a private, coeducational, nondenominational university providing a career-focused education. Founded in 1930, Indiana Tech is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Students can pursue bachelor's degrees in the fields of
business,
technology,
engineering, and other professional studies. On the graduate level, Indiana
Institute of Technology offers a Master of
business Administration, Master of Science in Management, and a Master of Science in Engineering. The academic program strives to remain on the cutting edge and recently added a new program in energy engineering.
Indiana Institute of Technology has campuses in Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, and Elkhart. The College of Professional Studies, an accelerated adult program, has additional sites in North and Central Indiana. The 40-acre main campus is located close to downtown Fort Wayne and boasts a theater, wellness center, and recreation center with bowling alley. Students can compete on one of 19 intercollegiate and intramural teams or show their school pride on one of four Spirit Teams, which include dance, cheerleading, band, or choir.
