Indiana University of Pennsylvania is a public, coeducational university founded in 1875. With more than 14,000 students enrolled, IUP strives to offer students the advantages of a large-scale university while maintaining the personalized approach of a smaller school.

business and
nursing to less conventional options such as Aquatic Education or Fashion Merchandising. More than 50 graduate programs are available as well, and many courses are available
online. Indiana University of Pennsylvania is the only state university to offer degrees at the doctoral level.
The main campus is located in the borough of Indiana, with branch campuses in Punxsutawney, Northpointe, and Monroeville. An
Academy of Culinary Arts is also located on the Punxsutawney campus, along with a police academy on the main campus. Students can get involved in campus life through the NCAA Division II athletic program or more than 200 student clubs and organizations.
