Culinary Arts and Sciences Institute provides students with the opportunity to sink their teeth into a culinary arts career. Towards this end, the
culinary arts school, otherwise known as ICASI, offers the Basic Techniques
certificate program. Designed for kitchen novices, this program starts by teaching students the cooking principles that have been used in Europe for centuries. Students may choose between focusing on the culinary arts or the baking arts, and upon graduation will be able to find entry-level positions in the industry.
The Advanced Techniques Diploma Program, meanwhile, will get you the skills needed to rising within the culinary and baking world. Consisting of a lecture and practical portion, this program teaches students about essential non-cooking aspects of the field while also giving them hands-on practice in the school's Student Café or Student Bake Shop.
The International Culinary
arts and sciences Institute is also a great option for adult learners with busy schedules. That's because this culinary arts schools offer courses in the day, evening, and weekend, allowing students to choose the courses that fit into their lives. In the past, many International Culinary Arts and Sciences Institute students have worked part- and even full-time jobs while still enrolled in classes.

Thanks to the Accelerated certificate program for Culinary Arts (or Pastry Arts) students can receive their Basic Techniques Certificates in only three months, attending class just four days a week and interning at the same time.
Externships at this culinary arts school require students to work a minimum of 200 hours. Students are, however, compensated.
After completing the Culinary Arts Basic Techniques Certificate Program, students are qualified to work as prep cooks, pantry cooks, utility cooks, and/or line cooks.
After completing the Culinary Arts Advanced Techniques Diploma Program, students are qualified to work as sous chefs, kitchen managers, kitchen shift supervisoers, caterers, and personal chefs.
