For more than 30 years the International Guide Academy has offered certification programs for aspiring tour managers and tour guides. The tour manager, or tour director, course prepares students for the responsibilities of traveling with tour groups and guiding them through activities and excursions and ensuring that they have an enjoyable time during their visit. This travel school's international tour manager program prepares students to work both tours at home and tours abroad.

The tour guide program at the International Guide Academy, meanwhile, helps to prepare students for such duties as meeting and greeting, conducting walking tours of popular sites and attractions, and providing tourists with ongoing information about the area in which the tour is taking place.

No matter which program a student chooses, this travel industry school will instruct them in everything from how to create their travel commentary and hotel procedures, to passport control and handling group expenses and accounting.
