With locations in both Palm Desert and Indio, California, International School of Beauty provides students with an opportunity to study a number of beauty programs, including:
Cosmetology, esthetics, or manicuring.
During their enrollment in the
cosmetology program, students will learn about such techniques and treatments as thermal hair styling, hair bleaching, water and oil manicures, eyebrow arching, artificial nails, and make-up application. In addition, esthetician students will learn about essentials like facials, chemical depilatories, eyebrow arches, and more, while aspiring manicurists learn about nail tips, pedicures, and proper sanitation procedures.
All of three of this
California beauty school's programs are offered on a full-time and part-time basis. The
cosmetology takes about two months longer when a student is enrolled on a part-time basis. The part-time esthetician program, meanwhile, is about one and a half months longer than its full-time counterpart, and the manicuring program about a month longer when enrolled in on a part-time versus full-time basis.

While this California beauty school's cosmetology program requires 1,600 hours of study, the esthetician program requires 600 hours, and the manicuring program consists of 400 hours.
After International School of Beauty students have satisfactorily completed the cosmetology program they may take the California licensure examination in order to practice as licensed cosmetologists within the state.
Students of International School of Beauty receive their diplomas after satisfactorily completing and paying for the programs in which they were enrolled, and receiving at least a 70 percent grade average.
